Hidden Treasures of the Great Southern

This website is a visitor's guide to the magnificent Hidden Treasures of the Great Southern. The Great Southern Region of Western Australia is a top tourist destination featuring many natural scenic attractions, wildlife, heritage, wildflowers and genuine country hospitality. Many visitors find the Great Southern Region a touring surprise and delight and we welcome all visitors to come and enjoy the Great Southern with us.

Grand old homesteads, from an era when the country relied on the 'sheep's back', to huge grain operations that showcase modern agriculture; all are mixed in with boutique produce, great scenery and warm country charm.

HIDDEN TREASURES OF THE GREAT SOUTHERN covers a collection of nine hinterland Shires of the Great Southern Region. These communities are predominantly recognised for the primary industry of agriculture from broad acre cropping, sheep for wool and meat production, viticulture, silviculture and horticulture.
